(Original Metal Version with autoload DVD) eMotion Frame Parental Control NOT working (DF-FOM7)
Question:

eMotion Frame Parental Control NOT working (DF-FOM-7)
Answer:

We have discovered a flaw in the Parental Control of the DVD player of the eMotion Frames manufactured prior to November 2004.

Here is the simple FIX that will allow your Remote Control to enter a password:

We have attached a file called BANK30.ROM below ("File Attachments" section below) You simply copy the file onto a flash memory card or compact Flash or any of the media you use to view photos on the eMotion Frame.

Once you insert the card with the file on it, please navigate to the file with remote control by pressing "select".

When the file is finished being read your screen will turn black and into INPUT mode. At this time, simply remove the flash card from your unit and UNPLUG the unit from the wall.

This will reset the unit.

Plug your unit back in.

When you turn the unit back on

Press "Setup" key from your remote controller
Select "preferences"
Select "Parental"
Select "No Parental"
Enter 3308 and press "Enter" key.

Your remote controller can use the NUMBER keys now.

the Parental Password is now 3308 as default

Please let us know if you have any questions or problems!

THANK YOU!

REMEMBER TO DELETE THE ROM FILE OFF YOUR FLASH CARD WHEN YOU ARE DONE:-)
