Quick Start Guide eMotion Solar PMP

To turn the Player “On” press and hold the POWER button until the screen illuminates

Navigate the menus with the arrow buttons on the LEFT.

Make your selections with the TRIANGLE button

Exit out (escape) with the X button

More options with the O button

To Charge the eMotion Solar PMP:  There are 3 (three ways to do this)

1. Solar Power: Turn the Power ON.  Unfold the device (exposing the solar panels) and make sure you expose the solar panels to LIGHT.  The RED charging light will appear if there is AMPLE light to charge the battery.  The RED light will turn GREEN once full charged.

2. The Unit can also be charged when plugged in USB to a computer

3. The Unit will charge fastest when plugged in to AC.

NOTE: Make sure the SLIDER button: ON/Off/LED is in the OFF position.  This SLIDER is for charging external devices.

To Charge OTHER devices using the eMotion Solar:

q       Select the matching USB connector for your OTHER mobile device that you want to charge

q       Plug the USB cable into the eMotion Solar (the larger USB port is the proper charging port).  The mini-USB port is for when you are connecting the eMotion Solar to your computer.

q       Turn the eMotion Solar Power SLIDER to the ON position.  The Slider has an ON / OFF/ LED label.

q       Press and Hold the button on the LEFT side of the eMotion Solar (the button to the right of the voltage indicators.  While holding down the button, the blue light will flicker until unit locates the proper voltage of your mobile device.  Release the button when the blue light stops flickering.  Your mobile device will now begin to charge.

q       Make sure to SLIDE the On/Off/LED slider to the OFF position when you are finished charging. 

To RESET the eMotion Solar:
If your unit ever freezes, simply stick a pin or needle in the reset hole that is located on the upper left side of the FRONT of the unit.  It is a small pin-hole that you need to stick a pin or paper-clip in to reset the unit.
