When the scanner is turned on press the MANUAL key, then press the channel number that you want to program first, then the MANUAL key again. This will stop the scanner from scanning and hold it on the channel that you want to program.

Then you enter the frequency (be sure to use the decimal point in the right area when entering in the frequency) and then press the E or ENTER button to save the frequency on the channel. You are now finished programming the channel. To advance to the next channel simply press the MANUAL key and enter your next frequency the same way that you entered it on the previous channel (as described at the beginning of this paragraph).
