What are the regulations for political signs?
Question:

What are the regulations for political signs?
Answer:

Political signs may not be placed on utility poles, on trees, or within the public right-of-way of a street (generally prohibited with 6 feet of the curb or edge of the road - code section 196-3N). A permit is required and there is no fee. Use the Building Permit Application to request this permit from the Code Enforcement Department. Visit our voter web page for more detailed information.
