Students taking an online or hybrid class at Central access their class through Blackboard. To access your online or hybrid class follow these steps:
1) Go to Central’s Blackboard page at http://blackboard.centralaz.edu/
2) On this Page click Login in the upper left hand corner.
3) On this webpage you can login. Your Blackboard username is typically the student’s firstname_lastname, but due to students sharing the same name it maybe different if you have a common name. Your Blackboard username and your Central e-mail address will be mailed to you at the mailing address on file in Student Records. The default password is your birth year and birth month in YYYYMM format. For example September 1983 would be 198309. The password is left at the default until you change it. Central recommends you change it for security reasons. If you cannot remember your password please send an email to centralhelpdesk@centralaz.edu.
4) Once you have logged in to Black Board you will see a listing on the right hand side called My Courses. Underneath My Courses you will see your online and hybrid classes. Click on the title of your classes to access the class material.
5) Once you Click on the Course you will get the class page where you can access the Class Announcements, Course Information Assignments, Discussion Board, or any other information regarding the class.
