What is Proposition 300?
Question:

What is Proposition 300?
Answer:

Proposition 300 was put into law by the AZ voters in November of 2006. It states: All students who seek in-state tuition status must provide evidence of U.S. citizenship, permanent resident status or lawful immigration status. Students whose eligibility cannot be verified will be classified as a non-resident for tuition purposes, and will be ineligible for financial assistance funded in whole or part by state monies.

The Proposition does not impact whether a student can be admitted to Central, but impacts whether a student pays in-state or out-of-state tuition and/or is eligible to receive financial aid subsidized or paid in whole or in part by state monies.
