What is Javascript?

Question:

Why do I get a message saying "Javascript not enabled"?

Answer:

JavaScript is a scripting language that was developed to allow browsers to interact with websites that contain dynamic content. If JavaScript is disabled on your browser, the main features of the site will be functional but you may disable some or all of the enhanced capabilities or features.

To use these enhanced capabilities, please enable JavaScript on your browser. You can do this by performing the following steps:

Internet Explorer 6.0

• Click "Tools" • Click "Internet Options" • Click "Security" tab • On each content level click "Custom Level" • Scroll down towards the bottom and select "Enable" on Active Scripting. Please note that the default security level "Medium" should allow for Active Scripting.

Netscape Communicator - Version 8

• Click "Tools" • Click "Options" • Click "Site Controls" • Under Web Features click “Enable Javascript”

Firefox

• Click "Tools" • Click "Options" • Click "Web Features" • Click “Enable Javascript”

Safari

• Click "Safari" • Click "Preferences" • Select the "Security" Tab • Click “Enable Javascript”
