A "Connection Manager" program is used to manage your data card (modem) connection.  Many service providers will use a proprietary name to describe their "Connection Manager".

The drivers are incorporated in the "Connection Manager" installation software that you will get upon purchasing the Merlin from your service provider.

The "Connection Manager" software is found on the CD provided with your data card. 

The "Connection Manager" MUST be installed on your computer, BEFORE inserting the data card. Failure to install the "connection manager" before inserting the data card will result in improper driver selection and result in unreliable operation or errors. 

After installing the connection manager software, insert the data card and then Windows will detect the data card and install the drivers.

Replacement and/or updated "Connection Manager" software may be obtained from your service provider.  Call your service provider support phone number and/or check your service provider web-site.
