Mobile phone versus Merlin service
Question:
5) Why does my mobile phone indicate that I have GPRS coverage in an area while my Merlin indicates no network?
Answer:
Most probably you are in an area not covered by your service provider. Your mobile phone is a voice device, and with voice various carriers have roaming agreements. Your Merlin is a data device, and presently roaming agreements amongst carriers is not common.
